Hello everyone, sorry its been so quiet here. I would love to tell you I've been working on new things but I'm really not. Pretty far behind on the Warden and were I want to be. Plus I've been helping others on costumes stuff, we're doing a batman group tonight for the new game release.  Still re-doing parts of Harley that are a little rough around the edges.

Sometimes I feel like I have two jobs. Haha. On days like this it doesn't feel like a hobby anymore (not in a bad way either).

I've never done a photoshoot with my adult Sakura and that needs to happen! SOON! Its been done for MONTHS!!!

Jurassic World

Hello everyone! We show Jurassic World last Thursday night and it was everything that I wanted it to be. Going into this I had my doubts like many people but I was happy to see those doubts fly out the window the minute the movies started. Didn't think I was going to enjoy the two young brothers but they had some of the best lines, and female in white (I don't want to spoil anything) I wanted to hate her, I did but I couldn't bring myself to it. I'm going to see it again because, wow, awesome. Also look for Easter eggs hidden in the film, I saw a few.

Oh yeah we dressed up.

We also had a busy week in the bakery and I had the pleasure of decorating a birthday with the Jurassic World theme.

How Cool is that right? Awesome and the family LOVED it. 

Wolf

I told you guys that I have a problem, the Witcher is making me want to create things that I don't need right now, but I do have the supplies to use up so why the heck not? I tried to make the medallion that Geralt wears in the game BUT because I am the size of a small child the sizing was hard to pull off. Making things smaller is hard and sometimes it just doesn't work out in the end but I googled wolf medallion and I followed the design of the one I liked. Now the one I saw was metal, prefect, and for sale. 

I had some left off sculpey hanging about so I used that. 

Not to bad, I feel like the photo doesn't do it justice. I can probably make another and it will be better... maybe later in the week I will try again. 

True Faith

Hey everyone! If your like me, you sometimes spend way to much time dedicated to your pinterest boards. (yay you know you do) But in my defense I always end up finding some really cool costuming tip or trick. This time it was how to make your craft foam look like leather. 

Tin foil and an iron

That is it and as a bonus using the iron is heat sealing the foam so you can go right to the mod podge. 

Awesome! Right? Super easy. Thicker the foam the better.  

Did I tell you how awesome this is?

First time making a harness please don't mind the pins, inspiration by the  Witcher 3, damn those costumes are gorgeous.  I'm not done with it yet, though it does fits great not to sure on what shirt I'll be wearing with it. I also plan on putting some details on to it, fake pockets and what-nots.

I can not tell you enough times on how life changing this technique is for craft foam. Such an amazing thing to learn.
