It's been awhile

What madness has taken over my heart..

What happen in Boston over the past week is all over the TV, radio and all social networking websites. I understand that what happen is terrible and the people who have committed such an attack will be brought to justice. But attacks like this happen all over the world. Everyday. I think its time that America prepares herself for more unfortunate events to happen, I wish someone on the TV wearing a suit could tell us all that, 'Everything is going to fine, nothing like that will ever happen again.' But its not. The air in small towns and cities (not that Boston is a small city) around America is changing, we are going to be seeing more police and more armored guards. I personal never saw the world as 'safe' I'm always on guard when I'm out and about with friends. My mother taught me that there is good in everyone and my father taught my how to use a switch blade encase I have to dig deep to find that good (if under attack). 

Sorry about my little rant but I thought if I was going to post anything about what happen it would be here and not on Facebook. I can't even stand looking at the news feed with all the shit everyone is posting...

I've been everywhere

Right so I totally have not been posting any updates on anything here. Sorry. I had the flu for about two weeks and I found my love for reading again, I've gone through about five books in the last month. Wicked bad. I'm better now and back to work.

We have also been looking at houses and finally purchased one, super excited and hopefully at the end of the month we will be moving which means packing. Packing everything up and no more sewing. Thank the gods that I've took the week of Anime Boston as a vacation so anything that I don't get done now, I'll have time that week. I can not wait to move!
