30 Day cosplay challenge - 5-14

Totally have not been posting everyday like I planned on with this challenge. Haha. Work at the bakery has been a bit to much for me of late., plus we've been looking at houses and on top of that I've been getting sick. Everyone at work is sick and some of our friends, the good news it that I've got in contact with everyone that is coming to Anime Boston with us this year, I can not wait! We had a wonderful dinner and talked about costumes and the sewing parties we plan on having we do get tons of work done. Plus your hanging out with all your friends and we have dinner and drinks! So much fun!

I've also been reading again, I go on this on and off moods with my book collection. Savers is a really good place to pick up new books for my shelves. I feel like I'm adopting them from a broken home and getting a pretty sweet life with my other books. I take very good care of my books... unless they end up getting lost in my car.. then they are in the hands of the gods. Poor things. I found one once...it was all stained with some kind of car cleaner and I didn't even finish reading it. BUT I WILL!

So Sakura - Jounin is coming along swimmingly. I need to change a few things before Boston but other than that she is done.
-Dark red tank top - instead of the gray one
-Red swirl symbol on the sleeves
-Black gloves
-Attach pouches to the back
-Work on poses

You guys like my Slug? It was fun to make... I don't know if I'm gonna make a Ton-ton for AB. I don't think I'm gonna want to carry it around all day long or night. I think I might go out and about in this at night time.

Sinclair Reau, my mandalorian armor. That is one costume that I will always want to wear.

 7. The character you have cosplayed that is most similar to you? 

Sakura Haruno. When I started reading Naruto in middle school I could totally relate to having those useless feeling, though I wasn't very girly or in love with anyone. But watching that character grow into a fiery strong young woman lovin' it!

30 Day Cosplay Challenge - March

The hell with those silly fitness challenges and eating healthy, no one has time for that! But cosplay? Oooh yes. To clear any misunderstanding I see no difference between Cosplay and Costuming. Its the same thing people, if you want to act in character that by all means, please do.

Anyway I saw this on Hydra's facebook page and I figured I'd check it out so I googled it and found that it was a tumblr page. (BTW: check those links out)  I'm gonna do it! But I'm four days behind now. So here we go.

I do have to say that I am pretty excited about answering questions and what not. I don't think I'm supposed to put photos with EVERYTHING buuut I want to.

I have been a busy little sewing bee this weekend buut your all gonna have to wait until the next poooost.

Lose some time

Happy March everyone!! First post of the month and some new photos, I spent most of my afternoon and night working on the Jounin vest for Sakura. Which had out great so far, as you can see the back is pretty awesome, I do now that I am almost finished with it want to make another one in tan. I found a ton of drawings on DA of her have a tan-ish vest marking her as the medic-nin. Though going into combat I wouldn't want the enemy to know right away that I was medic, kinda making yourself the target at that point. But yes here it is.

I also plan on making a Tonton pig and a slug that will sit on my shoulder. I like making little things out of felt. Like my Howl costume with Calcifer. Love props. I don't know what I'm gonna do for weapons tho.. oh well we'll think about that later.

83 days and counting till Anime Boston 2013 and I am so excited! I can't wait to do a photo shoot as Sakura again! I love this character even when she a whiny little wit I still liked her. Hell I was reading Naruto when I was in middle school... that was a LONG time ago. Damn and its still going and going, though I will say I like that messages within the story lines.

 I'll have some nice before and after photos when I'm finished, they'll be pretty neat. As you could probably tell I am ever fond of making little collages with photos.

I had a bit of fun with this, even now I'm still wearing the wig. haha! I'll post more update photos soon!
