I can't believe that January is almost over, boo where did the days go!? Oh well I do have come new updates, I've posted these my TUMBLR find myself posting a lot of cool stuff on there.

So here are the arrows the top is the first batch, which at the time I thought looked really good. Now mind you I wasn't using a cosplay tutorial, it directions for the boy-scouts or something, I don't know. But it had out awful so that is when I went in search for a good, step by step tutorial. ..(ten minutes later)  now I can't find it... wonderful.. I'll post it later. But LOOK at the second batch! Gorgeous!

I tried my hand in some photo editing, trying to make my face appear more manly if you would. Still getting the hang of it but meh it was fun.

So i've got more photos of the Legolas test photo shoot, I want to do anyone when its warm out and maybe some green on the trees. I've got some photos of some art that I will be posting in the Art section of this blog, we started a new D&D campaign and I am so excited for it! Love making new characters PLUS we have a sixth person playing with us so its even better! Love it and can't wait!  I"m gonna see if there is a way to add a section to this blog and add some of my short stories on here.

Right so I've been working on some new arrows, I'm not to happy with the way they came out sooo I'm gonna re-do them, the quiver is coming along pretty good I really don't want to rush the quiver. Tho I've found two designs that I really like so I might be making two quiver and see were that takes me. I know I know it seems crazy buuut I really love Legolas as a character and I want to do him justice.

(Sorrry am I so BAD at posing I will practice!) Here are some photos from the test run from last Thursday, now I say test run because I want to change a ton of things about this costume. Darker tights, lengthen the outer jerkin, add some gold details to the jerkin, armor on my upper back, weapons (duuuuh) I am working on some arrows right now. The shin armor needs to be darker, still working the light chain mail under the jerkin and I might even re-do the silver tunic underneath it all, its from my original outfit.

We still have more photos, with a bow that again I didn't finish on time (shocker) but everything in good time, I will be bringing this costume to Anime Boston 2013 in three months sooo fingers crossed that everything will be worked out by then. Also need to keep working on James Kidd. I am so excited to see other people doing James Kidd cosplay!! SO PROUD of the fandom!!
