 Okay, sorry I didn't post a thing last month I try really hard not to do that but it seems last month flew by. 

The one thing I love the most about spring and summer months is all the fresh fruit that comes into season. If it is fresh and picked locally I want in all my baked goods. 

Memorial Day Cakes which I've been calling them Freedom Cakes. We do these for the 4th of July too. 

Summer feels like it is here already in Rhode Island, been busy getting the house ready and yard. Speaking of that I've taken up the yard work at my Mum's house this year too. We figured their going to be living there for another two or three years so now is good time to start getting the yard under check so when the time does come it will be a tad easier. .. or not. We'll see.

Fear not I have not given up on Kenway, I started wearing on it yesterday and I hope to have it done for RI Comic Con, fingers crossed. I've never good at giving dead lines to follow. I've always been working on some new armor, I've been playing DragonAge: Origins and I've been getting inspired by some friends.

Happy late Easter! Hope everyone had a wonderful holiday with their families and loved ones. The bakery was crazy last week which kept me pretty busy and also exhausted when I got home everyday. I haven't been working on Kenway at the rate that I planned on, I am not happy with myself but real life comes first to costuming. My sister's wedding as also been on my mind all month long and I'm making a list of all the things I still have to do, nervous but also excited!! Planning the bridal shower and coming up with a cake design, I have an idea of what I want to do. Fingers crossed people!

I did get my new Mary Read/ James Kidd wig in the mail. I got it from Arda Wigs, love them! They really are the best cosplay wig company ever! I mean come on, the people that run it are cosplayers themselves! Our people!!

Right so this is the wig, no beads or man makeup on just normal female Mary Read. The headband needs to be tighter but that is an easy fix. I am in love with this wig, it is wicked nice.

And because I was bored and thinking of new costumes for the up and coming Ren-Faires. I did a thing.

Happy April everyone! Sorry I have not been posting on a normal rate, my bad I've been busy with work and my sister's wedding (all the planning) and what nots. But  I have been working on a new costume and its not for me (no I'm not doing commissions) working on an Edward Kenway for my boyfriend. During Anime Boston I saw a few Kenways but I didn't take any photos with them, I don't think any of them realized who I was at the time (you know passing someone in costume in the hallway or in the mall during a convention, sometimes it takes you a minute to remember how you know that outfit).

I am aiming to have Kenway done by the end of May, I really really want to have a photo shoot at the beach. That would be amazing!

Sorry I am just now seeing that the photos are wicked blurry, blah! >_< OH well I'll update once the vest is all done, BUT i am in love with the fabric, buttons and the way its coming out! I have never been this excited to make someone else a costume!

The top photo is from my Sakura Haruno costume that I worn at Anime Boston the other weekend. Those scrolls are my favorite part of the whole costume. I am so proud of the way they came out, I'm planning on selling them on ebay so that I can make more. Ohh the symbol meanings "Doctor" I could for the life of me find a healing scroll in the Manga to base them off of .

The whole weekend was amazing and I only regret not going to the Assassin's creed photo meet up or the Naruto meet up either. :( ahh I'm so antisocial when I'm at cons. Hey eveyone! So sorry that I havn't been posting anything in the longest time! Real life yeah know? It chases up to you buuuut the good news is that I am on vacation all this week!! Excited! plus Anime Boston is this weekend!! YAAYAYY!!

So I got my new Sakura wig in ^ ^ ^ those are just two of the hundreds of pictures I took. (yes I have a problem, I'm okay with it) Its from Arda Wigs and I love everything about it! <3

 Also this is for all those Sakura haters out there. Yeah I was practicing some fake bruises and cuts, so I thought I should make this a character shoot. And yes, I do have my chest blinding on, figured I keep it kinda in character to have the ace bandage bra going on. hahaha!

Yeah I had some fun with it. Thank god no one is home, I don't think I'll post these on tumblr maybe deviantART. lol

Also for those of you who don't follow my on Tumblr I cut off ten inches of my hair the other day!!
