The day that never comes

Again I have not been updating this blog, and I am sorry for that. I've not been working on anything to big at the moment so no work in progress photos. A few weeks ago I was in the works of finding a new job and even though it didn't pan out the way I wanted it to, it took up most of my free time.

But now I am back on the horse! I have a new line up for costumes that I want to work on and CONS to go to this summer! Also made some new cosplay friends at SMF and I am hopefully for new costume groups!

BECAUSE WE ARE AWESOME AND I LOVE THESE COSTUMES!  (even tho I have no neck))

My sister and I went to see "The Huntmans WInter War" it was meh but there were pretty people and prettier dresses. I made up the crowns because I can. I know the Frozen queens crown isn't right I was rushing and didn't want to up to much detail into something quick.

Wake me up when September ends

I am so sorry, it seems I have been neglecting my blog... again. But fear not for I have been hard at work and taking lots and lots of photos!

And away we go!

Alistair's boot in the sun light

Okay so this chest plate is the beginning of Fenris from Dragon Age 2. There is no due date on this costume, I kinda started it just to keep busy while I waited on other things to happen. PLUS I have a TON of EVA foam hanging around the craft room.

Right on the next set of photos. Alistair's chaps. If you ask any of my sewing friends they will tell how much I hate making pants and now I don't have a lot of experience in making which leads to my hatred. But I picked up two pants at SAVERS and them Frankenstein-ed them together. Which turned out pretty good, for the gray top pants I wanted to add some texture to them so I drew on some quick "chain mail". Also added the eyelets to the brown "leather" chaps.

Right so I'm not up to date with Naruto, I stopped when Sakura and Obito saved Sasuke from the desert plane. Thanks to social media I have a rough idea of what is going on currently, sometimes I really dislike fandoms or maybe it is just people in general. ANYWAY we all saw those two cover arts that showed team seven in a different universe?! Right? Awesome! Love it!

Fact I loved it to the point I started making Sakura's dwarf/berserker costume. Yes, you did just read that correctly.

I got this off tumblr it is no way mine. But as I stated above I AM IN LOVE with this costume. I even plan on making the HUGE axe.

On a side note I have not spend a dime on material so far. I had all this stuff just waiting for me, it is the best feeling in the world when I can just look around my sewing room and have everything I'd need. AMAZING!
