Anime Boston 2012

This is going to be the saddest week ever, just because AB is over and now begins the waitting game for next year and more planning of costumes. All and all AB was wicked fun this year, we went to .. two panels this years. Thats double what we did last year, made new friends and had our photos taken a ton of time!

I know before I posted that I was gonna bring all these cotumes and well I only bought four and wore three. Odd right?

Howl went over really well with the fans, I also saw a bunch of other howls and even more sophies!

Right, so I am aware that I stated that I wasn't going to be making anymore costumes for Anime Boston 2012 buut I did start another. Now I know what your thinking... this girl has way to more time on her hands. Your right. 100% correct.

My firend is going as Yuna from FFX and she is going to look amazing! The costume is sooo well done, she has been working her little bum off to finish but its amazing! I think it was last weekend or maybe longer then that.. but she asked if I would do a Rikku outfit and to have our other friend be Lulu.

At the time I still hadn't finished my assassin's creed costume, so I said maybe next year or when I have time.. looking back on that I really do have to laugh at myself. I have tons of free time and that is why the apartment is so well kept. haha.

I started Rikku about a week ago and I've only spent about $20 so far but I think I have all the materials I'm gonna need. .. yeah I think the belt might need some $$ but if my plan comes together I would need to purchase anything else. Plus no wig need for this costume, blonde hair! Alrightly then! Time to start sewing! I'm using this photo as my base.

I've already made the two back pieces, the leg holster and the feathers. I just started the shorts pattern... I've never made shorts before.. and I've never worn short shorts out in public before.. hell I've never worn them! Goggles I have just need to paint out some red marks. Boots I have but making boot covers for them (so I can re-use them for another costume if needed).

The long glove on her right hand I might need to go out and buy some new material...oh and buckles I'll need buckles.. so yes this might be done for boston...

darn it! why do I have so many costumes!!
