Sweat Shop

The sewing circle / mini sweat shop as I like to call it went well yesterday! Nearly seven hours of staright sewing...and well we did kinda of get off track with some wedding mags buut it was only for abit! No one is gettin' married but we love looking at all the dresses and cakes! So pretty!!

Okay so I really like the photos of Howl

When we are at Anime Boston I do plan on wrapping my chest so I appear more boy-like. But for now I guess these photo are of female Howl. haha! I really enjoyed working on the jewerly for this costume, I'll have to take a close up of the necklace, earrings, and ring! I'm suer impressed with the blue jewel on the necklace OH! and Calcifer too! He came out great and it only took me about ten mintues to throw him together!

I know the collars are all sorts of fluffy? Wrinkled? I do plan on putting some interfacing on the back of them just so they both sit flat on my collar bone... other then that I just need to keep working on that darn hair style. I love braids but I'm never done one all the way around my head before, I've been spending much of my free time on Youtube watching videos on 'how to' when it comes to this hair style. I'll get the hang of it!!   >:3

I don't think I'm gonna attempt to make any more costumes for Anime Boston ... but you never know we still have some time.

Wow, I can't believe its already March and St. Patty's day is right around the cornor! Time is just flyin' by these days! Plus anime boston is next month, I still havn't re-reged yet but I'm hoping to do that today after I get paid. Oh the market has been crazy oh late! But I won't bore you with details the important thing is that I have a job that pays me somewhat well.

Okay, update on the costumes!! So in the last post I showed the Howl well I've been working my little bum off to get all the little things done and I'm just about finished with the necklace. I'll take photos of it all on next time.

Calcifer LIVES!!! Exciting huh? I also added little arms that I can put on and take off, wicked cheap to make just some 34 cent felt I got at Jo-Ann's fabric and left over buttons for the bottom. You know to add some weight to him.

What else... OH I'm bringing another costume with me! So as I hope all of you know the lastest Assassin's Creed is coming out in Oct 2012 and this girl couldn't be happier!!! Buut I wanted to do more of the characters from the other two games before I start working on Connor's assassin garb for the boyfriend. (Fuck Yeah I'm making it!!)

Right so I started and I'm almost finished with a Maria Thorpe outfit.

I only took photos of the arm bracers and the belts but everything is done. Tho I'm not dying my hair brown for this... my hair is like a dirty blonde so that will have to do.  Hope there will be a few Altairs at Anime Boston this year! mahahahaa!
